Came back 7/31 for the shrimp platter. So good! Everything was perfect! They have Louisiana hot sauce if you ask! Thanks again!!! My brother and I went and were very pleased with our meal. The employees were very polite. The dining room and kitchen were spotless. We had the chicken and fries deal. The tenders were well seasoned and huge. It was plenty to eat off of twice. My only complaint is that I wish they had diet sprite or diet Dr. Pepper or diet root beer, just any other diet option other than coke or tea. Still get 5 stars.
First time here. Started with gumbo. Sooo gooddd. I’ll be back. Olivia took my order & check on me to make sure I enjoyed it. And I did.
I stopped in today after blindly driving for something to catch my eye. I just arrived in town for a 2 week stay, and this was the best find! Olivia at the window was so patient, I asked her for recommendations, and I took one of her suggestions and got the Roast Beef Po' Boy and a side of red beans and rice. In the few moments it took me to drive from the speaker to the window, Olivia was already circling items on a To Go menu for me to try later. She was so helpful and patient, without even being asked! Needless to say, she made an incredible first impression on this weary traveler, and the food was AMAZING. The red beans and rice was still STEAMING hot by the time I got it back to my hotel room. The roast beef po' boy was delicious and chunky and messy with lettuce and mayo and thick sweet tomato. The bread was soft enough to absorb it, but sturdy enough for me to still have to gnaw off each bite a little. Perfect!! I'll be back, working my way through Olivia's suggestions. Great place all around.
Visited from Miami and loved everything about this establishment. Customer service was great and the food was delicious. Short wait time as well. Thank you for such an awesome experience!
We came in for lunch today and let me tell you how amazing it was. Being from Louisiana it’s hard to get good Cajun food fast, but this place blew my mind. From walking in being greeted, to the manager Justin coming around seeing if everything was good. I’ve gotta say I was really shocked how great this place was. Will definitely be back.
The shrimp platter was so good and the gumbo was delicious !! The staff was friendly ! If I lived closer I’d come here often 😋
Mrs. D was the best hostess for my first visit! You can tell she loves her job. She walked me through the whole menu and gave great recommendations. And the food was delicious!
Enjoyed the service, it was fast and efficient. The food tasted GREAT! Catfish was fried and seasoned to perfection along with crispy fries and fresh hush puppies. All complimented very well by the Hook sauce and delicious lemonade and sweet tea. Definitely will be eating here again.
Food was delicious but the service from Dee. Amazing!! She went over the entire menu. We wanted something light. Tried the crawfish ettoufee, Fried Catfish platter and red beans and rice. She is very knowledgeable. Very energetic and so friendly. We will return again, just because of her. Go Gators!!
Burger was outstanding!!! Probably in contention for the best burger I've had in Baton Rouge..... seriously try it! We also had the fried shrimp and catfish. Catfish was good but the shrimp were excellent. Hush puppies are also excellent ....Service is SO FAST! Food was ready by the time I paid , got my drink then sat down...... onion rings are legit not frozen out of a bag....red beans and rice and also killer. Prices are also very fair and large portions....just check my pics. The staff was super friendly also. The manager even checked on us while dining and asked if he could bring us anything or refill our drinks....you don't see that much anymore these days.! We were impressed!
